At 6 mana in a deck style that is supposed to win fast (like RDW), I'm not certain how useful it'll be, but her abilities synergize with each other wonderfully. Turning any red card into a flame javelin is good on its own, as well as dumping cards in to the graveyard to both disrupt opponents and refill your hand with burn spells. Best of all, if you can actually stick around long enough to see that ultimate kick off, you probably just won the game with flying colors (or color - red).

When you do her ultimate say for instance you had 5 instant/sorceries can you just keep playing them and just play between all of them or does it stop once youve played the spell.

What's great is that you could run 4 of these in a deck, and if you have any in your hand while one is already on the battlefield, you can just use it as fodder for Chandra's +1.

The ultimate ability is not an infinite loop (obviously). You can basically re-cast your choice of instant and sorcery cards from your graveyard once each.

The only thing that keeps this from being good is the six mana cost. If it costed four, and MAYBE had less lyalty, it would surpass Koth of the Hammer in usefullness. Its abilities are great, no question about it. But the fact that its not playable due to the unachievable mana cost makes it suck. I like this thing a lot, but it needed to cost less mana.

You could always put 4x Pyretic Ritual Buy in the deck to get her out early. Then, any Pyretic Ritual Buy you draw later can be discarded to Chandra's +1 ability.

Probably the most unwieldy Chandra of the three versions printed so far. She really works best in a low-creature, high-spell strategy, but Planeswalkers are tragically vulnerable without creatures to defend them. She's also very expensive for a card that takes at least 3 turns to really go off. At {6}, I personally think I would rather just start the beatdown with something simple like Shivan Dragon Buy.

I can see her in suicide-mill strategy with Wheel of Fate Buy and Barbed Shocker Buy. However, if your hand is empty, her second ability basically reads "you draw 3 cards", and if you can cast all three cards, you can really turn up the heat quickly with this ability. Unfortunately, her second ability has little synergy with her first and third abilities, which means she has two strategies: Burn her up for lots of cards, or build her up and hope you can pull off her Ultimate, hoping you have enough red spells to make it worthwhile. She really requires a pretty specific deck build to work right in this second capacity.

Chandra is not very pretty when she's angry. I'm not quite digging this illustration. At least she has hair, rather than looking like a cancer survivor turned burn victim.
