I Play, You Don't
Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir Buy + Omen Machine BuyBasically reads, "I get to play and none of my opponents can."
Since they can't play the spells revealed with it. And if you don't have the counters necessary to protect it, you aren't playing blue right.

it doesn't prevent them from playing the cards already in their hand but after that i suppose it works.

This is horribly foul. Very mean. This should actually go on some extended decks as part of a deck strategy.

I've been running this in ![]() ![]() So many ways to lock your opponents down. If you want to run this in EDH, you can also run a Knowledge Pool Buy to combo Teferi off of as well.

I had to read it... came back a couple days later and now I see how terribly awful this hard lock is... very cruel. Awesome!

I'm loving at how brutal this can be with counters to back it up, very nice because both rares are dirt cheap.

I have been playing this in a Wizard/Artifact deck I threw together, and it is just damn near unbeatable... I threw in 2x Knowledge Pool Buy with 2x Teferi, and 2x Omen Machine... Then, if that wasn't enough, I threw 3x Hex Parasite Buy with 2x Decree of Silence Buy. Isochron Scepter Buy with Into the Roil Buy, Counterspell Buy, Deprive Buy Toss in 3x Apprentice Wizard Buy and a few High Tide Buy... then the rest is pretty much whatever you want it to be because once either lock comes out, they're done. You can also use Magus of the Future Buy to play around the Omen Machine's "drawback" and just ply right off the top of your library. Personally, I like to use Serendib Sorcerer + Merfolk Thamaturgist to deal with creature threats, Aether Adept to bounce anything else I don't like and couldn't counter the first time around (including their lands). Then 4x Vedalken Mastermind Buy to bounce Knowledge pool out to my hand, re-cast it to mill everyone for 3, then play my low costs for their best cards, just to turn around and beat face with them.

I'm not sure I'd wanna go the route your taking, although it could work, and you could even throw in Vesuvan Shapeshifter Buy + Brine Elemental Buy as well... for me I'd focus on the main combo, tefari + machine. Use things to help set up and achieve your goal. Having so many combos like that is bound to bite you in the ass when you don't draw the right pieces and the others become useless for the time being.

I have a few Treasure Mage Buy and some Vedalken AEthermage Buy to help me just search for the necessary parts. A couple Ponders, some Sage of Epityr, Aven Fateshaper, Halimar Depths, just to let you set yourself up are nice too. I am running a Leyline of Singularity with a couple Clones and Vesuvan Shapeshifter/Brine Elemental just to add more randomness to it as well. Trying to have it be almost a highlander deck just so that I can keep myself from accidentally revealing a duplicate that will kill the other off. Supreme Inquisitor fixes this in a pinch if you can get one of those out. The Magus of the Future is almost a necessity so you can play around the artifacts. My play group likes to play 80-card decks these days and sometimes it really feels like we are playing EDH, so I can easily get away with my 75-card wizard deck and run circles around everyone.
