One Side Wrath?
Keep Watch Buy + Vengeful Dreams Buy
Ok, when they attack, cast Keep Watch, and draw that many cards, then cast Vengeful dreams, and discard the cards drawn to remove all there attacking creatures from the game. Fun, fun..

Damn good ! The problem is that they have to attack, but some cards can solve that.

I personally hate the dreams, since the discard is part of the cost and it is a biznitch to have them countered, but nice combo nonetheless.

Not so good...
You have to discard too many cards... can be good with a Spirit Cairn.

Nah, the card discarding is fine (because Keep Watch nets you one card per attacker, you will have at least enough to remove every single one - if you want).

I can't rate because I'm not registered on this, but I would give it 4 - 3 - 3.

It's pretty useful (I love Vengeful Dreams).

it's a great combo assuming you have the mana for it and the two cards =/

assuming you have the mana? Ok, this costs 5 mana. Wrath of God costs 4. One more mana, but a one sided wrath... and turn 5 is about the best time to play this.

isn't discarding cards the whole point of the od block? this could use a card that makes creatures attack. oh, like grand melee.

Does this even work though?

My understanding of the stack is that once it has started to resolve you cannot stop it to play another spell, even if it is an instant.

Is there more than one instance where priority is given when the stack is empty during the declare attackers phase?

In my personal experience there is not.

If my understanding is correct than you would cast Vengeful Dreams Buy, then Keep Watch Buy so Keep Watch would resolve first.

In that case you would not have the cards in time, due to the fact that Vengeful Dreams Buy reads "As an additional cost," which would require you to pay it at the time of placing it on the stack, which would be before you even play Keep Watch Buy

The only way this would work would be if you can either stop the resolving of the stack part way through, or if there is more than one time priority is given with an empty stack during the declare attackers phase.

This entire argument is based on the fact that you need the cards from Keep Watch Buy before you play Vengeful Dreams Buy. And you can only get those cards if Keep Watch Buy resolves...

Which brings up more technicalities that I'm too tired to list again, read through a few times and try to respond with an answer you feel is correct, it's very early and I'm very confused... Help me out.

With all those technicalities aside, this is certainly kickin'. Great combo without a doubt. Plus the cards are easy to come across. Excellent job.

(Giving all 5 because that's what this deserves if it does or does not work [You can always argue with your opponent until he/she lets you have your way if your a good politician])
