Nice build. Its solid, everything helps the main deck cause and everything is quaded up. I think if anything you may need a draw card mechanism. You can go with either a blue spell or artifact for this, I guess play testing will tell you if you need one or not.

Good Job

Thanks for the rate.

I very much like your concept here, but if I were playing with this deck I'd be a little overly concerned about it's dependency on the combos you have listed. Any deck that is so centered around a few combos needs either a method of pulling the card needed directly from the library or (and far less likely) out of the graveyard. Think over some options to switch out Fog Bank Buy, Ovinize Buy and Mungha Wurm Buy, not to mention Brainstorm Buy as there are certainly much better drawing cards out there. I'll check back to see what YOU come up with, and re-rate your progress. Good Luck!

I like the way this deck runs. I kinda like the symmetry of Mungha Wurm Buy and Winter Orb Buy to even out that drawback, plus Seedborn Muse Buy to negate it entirely. Solid!

very good ideas here, yet another excellent use of seedborn muse. It wouldn't be too hard to speed it up. maybe aeon chronicler, which helps you draw and gives you another beater, asuming you have a big hand (I assume you do?) good luck with this!

Thanks for the idea, bergstromi. I don't know about aeon chronicler, though. Paying a six mana supend cost to draw two cards is not going to help me speed this thing up, I don't think. I think I need more early-game card drawing. By the fifth or sixth turn, this deck is using its mana every turn to tap down creatures or activate isochron scepter, so it can stall until something good happens. In actaul play, I never seen to have mana to spare in mid-game turns.

Nice deck, lots of synergy going on. I wouldn't enjoy being your opponent, though :-). I don't quite understand Galactus's comment about the inclusion of Brainstorm in this deck. It simply is THE best draw spell ever printed. (Okay, if you're lucky enough to own an Ancestral Recall...)Ask any Legacy player, they'll know.

Lots of interesting interactions here. I wonder if Forgotten Ancient Buy might not be a better win-con than the wurm - after all, each time you activate the scepter you get to play the spell on it, that gives the ancient a +1/+1 counter which it can move to other creatures.

Thanks for rating my deck. This deck seems solid enough as is and the only suggestion I would make is to add something to limit the combat damage you take since it's a slow deck. Respite Buy is a good choice since it'll give you some more life and possibly buy you more time to set up your combos. Or maybe even consider Tangle Buy for more of a control aspect or Moment's Peace Buy for its ability to flashback. Either way this deck still looks like it could hold its own.

Oh wow, Jagool. Thanks for the ideas! Both tangle and respite are great suggestions. And they both have potential to be put on scepters, which would be pretty hilarious. Thanks!

Mungha Wurm does work with the theme you have going here but can backfire on you since it only targets you. I would suggest using Argothian Wurm instead, if your opponent wants to sac a land to put it on top of your library let them! That's longer until they can play the big spells... And it's 6/6 with trample. Another card that may help would be Mystic Snake, but I'm not sure what I would take out to put that in. Great job! If you want to check out one of my decks.

It's a great deck. I've always loved Icy and Winter Orb in combination. I have a deck like this but yours achieves the lock faster. Good design even without using fancy dual lands. Powerful, too.

Blue/Green Control featuring a Seedborn Muse Buy but no Capsize Buy? Boulogne, I say!
