I would recommend mana producing creatures such as Llanowar Elves Buy or Birds of Paradise Buy and if Vernal Bloom Buy might also be a thing to look into... Elvish Piper Buy or Sneak Attack Buy would also be worth looking into...

Thanks for the rate J.
My mana production is pretty good.
-turn 1 green producing land and Veteran Explorer Buy
-turn 2 land Three Visits Buy, or Nature's Lore Buy attack with explorer(hoping it dies)
-turn 3 play a land (that's 4) play Natural Order Buy sac the explorer go get 2 basic lands(that's 6) and Thorn Elemental Buy.
--turn 3A (if the explorer died) then I untap with 6 lands in play. Play my land for the turn (that's 7) and play any of my creatures from my hand.
-turn 4 play Rage Reflection Buy or Gratuitous Violence Buy and attack for 14 Straight To The Dome!

I like it, but I personally think that you have too much wasted spells *just* getting land + the Veteran is a great card, BUT there is no synergy with it unless you were in control of it going to the graveyard. I would rather see you use Llanowar Elves Buy in that slot and I would recommend Harrow Buy any day over NAture's Lore and Skyshoud Claim. It nets you one land, but it thins out your deck in the process PLUS its an instant which I consider to be very important here.

Also, would you consider trying out Ashling's Prerogative Buy instead of Fervor? This would mean your Rhox would be affected, but there *are* other creatures that can replace it plus of course you can Dramatic Entrance it in on their turn to get past its drawback. I like it because its one mana cheaper and hurts their creatures, but of course it has its drawbacks as well. Just a thought...

And since youre not looking for any one creature in particular with Worldy Tutor I would suggest trying out Gift of the Gargantuan Buy. With as many creatures as you have in there that basically do the same thing, youre *going* to find one

Also, I dont know how much you need all that overkill in there. Have you physically played this deck yet? Do you find yourself needing all that

weakandwounded, thank you for taking the time to leave your comments, and your rating. However, I must disagree with some of your ideas. Llanowar Elves Buy vs Veteran Explorer Buy. Yes the elves help speed up your mana, but they get killed very easily, now they are no help at all. The explorer cost's the same; has the same power/toughness, but when he dies there are two more (basic)lands that come in play untapped. I can now play nature's lore or three visits AND another explorer. Natural Order Buy allows me to kill the explorer.
Harrow Buy, yes, it is an instant. But usually a turn 3 instant that nets you 1 more land that is a basic land; it thins your deck, but you have to sac a land. Nature's Lore Buy and Three Visits Buy are turn 2 plays, they net you 1 land, it is a forest card. ie: Taiga Buy, Stomping Ground Buy. Skyshroud Claim Buy might be a little much, but it has thinned my deck and allowed me to play something monsterous on the next turn.
I like Fervor Buy over ashling's perogative because I am not worrying about their creatures I am going for the DOME. I need my creatures to have haste. 2-3 mana here doesn't make a difference.
Worldly Tutor Buy gives me 5 chances to pull the explorer. I can see Gift of the Gargantuan Buy being useful here.
The Rage Reflection Buy, and Gratuitous Violence Buy are devastating when you can attack for 14 with one creature. How a bout attacking for 28 with both in play?
Yes, I have played this deck and it does what it's supposed to do. In a melee group game I killed 4 people on the same turn.

No problem...well, you said nothing about this being intended for group games or otherwise my suggestions would have been slightly different. In fact, I might have only recommended Gift Of The Gargantuan and Harrow in that case (I still stand by the awesomeness of Harrow) :D

Your being way too idealistic with this deck, you a have a 60 % chance you will not draw one of your explorer in your opening hand, then even if you do and it dies, that might hurt you more than it helps. I personally might go with the magus of the vineyard because that might cause mana burn dmg to the enemy instead.

YOU DO NEED MORE EARLY MANA CREATURES YOU ARE COMPLETELY UNDEFENDED FOR ON AVERAGE AROUND 4 or 5 TURNS.

Lanowar elves or birds of paradise are great cards, then if you still want lots of creatures put in a few commune with natures or things of the likes.

It might also be nice to have some buff cards since green is great at that to surprise kill enemies. Since you have so much mana might of oaks should smash in that deck.

Blackhalo, thank you for your honest opinion.

Quote:Your being way too idealistic with this deck, you a have a 60 % chance you will not draw one of your explorer in your opening hand, then even if you do and it dies, that might hurt you more than it helps.

You must have forgotten about the Nature's Lore Buy and the Three Visits Buy. I have 4 chances of getting the explorer in turn 1, five chances on turn 2 with my Worldly Tutor Buy. I want him to die as soon as possible, so I can get the lands. With out him I can have 4 mana on turn 3 and with Skyshroud Claim Buy I could possibly have 7-8 lands in play on turn 4.

Quote:YOU DO NEED MORE EARLY MANA CREATURES YOU ARE COMPLETELY UNDEFENDED FOR ON AVERAGE AROUND 4 or 5 TURNS.

Let's drop turn 1 and turn 2. In casual play you don't really take massive damage on those turns. So if I don't get a big creature in play till turn 4, the only turn I am really worried about is turn 3. If I am playing against a deck that has a turn 3 kill, then I am in a tournament and I'm not playing this deck.

Quote:Lanowar elves or birds of paradise are great cards, then if you still want lots of creatures put in a few commune with natures or things of the likes.

I agree that the elves and birds are great cards.
In my play circle people like to play board sweepers like Pyroclasm Buy, Damnation Buy, Wrath of God Buy. If I am depending on those elves or birds then I am in trouble. This deck is designed to have 2-3 creatures on the board at a time in a 1 on 1 situation. So wrath effects won't totally wax me.

Run the deck through the deck analysis and get some sample hands. You'll see that the deck actually works. Thanks!

Thats probably why, allot of the decks I play against are pretty fast. The only way to really beat them is to mess them up in the first couple turns.

I see were your coming from though, investing your mana in creatures is pretty risky when playing against a bunch of board wipes.

Good Luck

ive always loved and feared the ability that this deck utilizes since my friend attacked me with a Lone Wolf Buy enchanted with a Blanchwood Armor Buy to kill me through the strongest of defenses but u no u only hav 20 lands, 4 which only search, and since this is far from aggro and u hav land search as ur mana acceleration i would suggest at least 24. u only hav 9 mana accelerators 2 of which cost 4 u really shouldnt need to get more than 1 or 2 of ur big hitters out so 12 with creature search is a bit excessive since u have Gratuitous Violence, Rage Reflection, Mage Slayer to double their damage, Harmonize Buy is kind of useless because in a deck like this its difficult to drop ur hand even without extra draw. Elvish Piper Buy or Sneak Attack Buy > dramatic entrance since they cost either the same or less for the same effect which can be duplicated. Natural Order Buy is useless unless u put more low cast creatures than 1. i think this deck can be improved a lot even though it is only designed for casual play

I like the idea of using mana acceleration to bust out huge creatures, especially Thorn Elemental Buy.
Which makes an easy finisher combined with
Gratuitous Violence Buy or
Rage Reflection Buy
