So dropping the Lashwrithe Buy and Nightmare Lash Buy for discard and Erebos, God of the Dead Buy? I personally don't "like" it as much but I can't honestly say it's worse. Liliana of the Veil Buy would be good in this deck. I'd lend them to you if we ever went to the same tournament. I seriously Doubt you need 4 Duress Buy in addition to the 8 main board discard spells. I'd probably get some number of Ghost Quarter Buy back in the Sideboard. I suggest: 2 Spellskite Buy 3 Ghost Quarter Buy 3 Torpor Orb Buy 3 Ratchet Bomb Buy 4 Mutilate Buy With a severe "thinking about" Relic of Progenitus Buy as a 2 of. I never want to be caught pants down to a graveyard deck. Relic is also very strong at weakening Deathrite Shaman Buy and Tarmogoyf Buy.

I like it. It's a cool idea. I have to agree with the top poster though, Mutilate and Ratchet bomb are nice. Same with Ghost Quarter. I can see that Turn 5 kill happening often with Phyrexian Obliterators. With Ghost Quarter land disruption and a ratchet bomb or two. I can't see anything surviving much on the field. There's no graveyard love here? No reanimation at all? And why Disfigure Buy and not Nameless Inversion Buy or Go for the Throat Buy?

so Lifebane Zombie Buy is better as a sideboard card than in the main, also in sideboard I'd look at Illness in the Ranks Buy and Sudden Death Buy if your meta has a lot of Twin decks. I'd run a single copy of Slaughter Pact Buy and a single Beseech the Queen Buy...it is great for finding your one ofs and post boards, and has saved me numerous times. Extirpate Buy is better than extraction in sideboard for graveyard and combo decks both, as I wouldn't want to lose the life with extraction with Thoughtseize Buy in the decks as well. I'd run Techtonic edge. Geth's Verdict Buy is good for killing emrakul if you are afraid of that...and Gatekeeper of Malakir Buy should be a full 4 in the main.

Hey! Nice deck! I would recommend a Dismember Buy, since you have the lingering lifelink theme going on. That card might just save your bacon. I would also run a Mutilate Buy at least in the board, as an effective board sweeper. Love the look of this deck. Please take a look at my MOONMUD deck. Thanks!

Seems insane that you don't have one or two copies of Gray Merchant of Asphodel Buy. the lack of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx Buy is also puzzling. I personally like Geralf's Messenger in this deck a bit better than Nighthawk but I played during Zendikar so I know how surprisingly good the Vampire is. Fulminator Mage Buy Is a surprisingly good card against a bunch of decks. I think its worthy of 2-3 slots in the sideboard. Tron, b/g/x, control decks all have issues with it. Whip of Erebos Buy is good in grindy matchups and against burn. It could get a slot in the board. Surgical extraction is only really good against combo decks that need to have a certain card but that's a very small amount of the field now and you first have to draw it and another discard spell. Instead of bloodghast which is a below average card when not paired with discard or sacrifice effects could be turned into a delve spell like Angler, or tomb stalker

Ok, so I'll be the one to ask this. Why on gods green earth are you running only 2 Relentless Rats Buy on mainboard with 1 on sideboard instead of the 3 Vampire Nighthawk Buy which is sitting in sideboard? In Modern the nighthawk is way more powerful, and your only running 2 rats mainboard which means no real chance of benefit. Run all 3 nighthawks main deck and you'll have better board control via creatures to match you Phyrexian Obliterator Buy. Phyrexian Crusader Buy would even be a better choice than the rats. Finally, Spellskite Buy is a must to keep your obliterator alive from kill spells.

I like it and appreciate it's budget-friendly price. I don't see the need for 3 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth Buy. Looks like you could replace some with Ghost Quarter Buys. I think the upside is bigger than the possible stumble to play the black-only spells, especially if you get rid of Mutavault Buy. Seems out of place and could be swaped for another swamp? And the Shizo, Death's Storehouse Buy? I'm surprised to see Child of Night Buy. I see the life-gain thing, but the child is just to weak in my estimation. No synergy with the fun and surprising Panharmonicon Buy, I really like. That exploit-tutor guy would be very nice after a Panharmonicon Buy to fetch a Grave Titan Buy...

Im sure you have good reason for a playset of Erebos, but it seems like too many given they are legendary and indestructible. Im sure you end up pitching extra copies to Liliana. I'd recommend cutting 2 copies in place for something like bloodghast, relentless dead, or geralf's messenger. These creatures would add more devotion and give you a resilient early game threat or a recurring threat. Just a thought.
