If I have Brisela, Voice of Nightmares on the battlefield and my opponent destroys it, does it go into the graveyard and what happens to her, the "melded" creature?

If we look back at the article on the set mechanics, it's pretty straightforward. Brisela, a single creature, leaves the battlefield, and then the two constituent cards are put separately face-up in your graveyard.
