Essential Magic Trading

Trading Steps:

• Find a person to trade with in our Trading Forum,  find someone who has a card you want, or wants a card you have, or just find somebody yourself.
• Research this person and check their references (see below).
• Propose the trade.
• Your trading partner gets an email alert and sees the trade on their My Trades page.
• Your trading partner approves the trade.
• After your trade, leave comments and rate the trade as you do for decks and combos on eM.

Part of online trading is doing sufficient research on your trading partner. Here are several ways to research.

Research methods:

• Check comments posted about this user, and their trading rating (found on their profile page. You can find a profile from the Member Search page).
• Check the old Good Traders List* and Bad Traders List *. 
• Search the Trading forum for comments about this user.

*As of about 9/16/2006, the Good/Bad Traders Lists will have been used less due to the implementation of this system.
